Pretty sure she doesn't know the difference either... as for feeding the wee one, we are constantly around children who are breastfed, formula fed or both and I truly cannot tell the difference! As for being urged to breastfeed whilst on antibiotics?! Just horrible. I'll raise my glass to healthy, happy children no matter which way they came out or where fed! xPieces of Suzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18306303144860408495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7880218829209925347.post-26143692404059788672012-03-20T23:15:14.059+00:002012-03-20T23:15:14.059+00:00I am scared!I am scared!Big brothernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7880218829209925347.post-65306105476067016312012-03-20T08:09:17.938+00:002012-03-20T08:09:17.938+00:00Bloomin' brilliant post! I was born by Cesarean and I get sick of hearing all this guff about bonding etc, I couldn't be closer to my mother if I tried - and I was born at a time when ALL babies were kept in a separate ward from their mothers for a whole week.

I combination fed my daughter, hadn't planned to, but given she spent her first 6 days in NICU after a difficult birth, which meant she wasn't breastfed from the start and then some rotten advice from the Dr to continue breastfeeding whilst I was on antibiotics - DON'T EVER DO IT, IT LEADS TO AN ENDLESS CYCLE OF THRUSH AND ORAL THRUSH - I had no choice but to do some bottle feeding. In the end, we settled into a nice combination feed routine and I had a baby who was well fed and slept well from a very early age. So, ya bo sucks to any naysayers.mother.wife.mehttp://www.motherwifeme.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7880218829209925347.post-90064447750837043472012-03-19T18:28:33.582+00:002012-03-19T18:28:33.582+00:00Hands up to Formula! I believe we have enough to do with actually raising decent children to have to stop and defend our position to others that probably don't even have kids. Also, if you think of all the women who lose their babies I feel just so lucky that M is with us, whichever way that came to be! xPieces of Suzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18306303144860408495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7880218829209925347.post-19957263932192741382012-03-19T09:57:40.556+00:002012-03-19T09:57:40.556+00:00here here! A C Section is giving birth and it's bloody hard work to boot. Let's stop berating and start supporting one another. Well done xHonestMumhttp://www.honestmum.comnoreply@blogger.com
